A citizen knelt on the street and began to write—
not on paper, but on asphalt.
With chalk as her voice,
she wrote what many of us feel but cannot say.

We were born too late to explore the Earth,
too early to explore the universe.

We were born—
not too early, not too late—
but exactly in time to rise.

To rise, and to fight.

Message written during 2025 protests in South Korea.

This is more than a protest slogan.
It’s a timestamp of human awakening.
We were born not for silence,
but for remembering.

And so we write.
